We always recommend bringing large flies, since the fish that inhabit the island are very large in size. We recommend flies larger than 2 inches in diameter.

Part of the art of fishing is being able to trick the fish into biting the lure, believing that it is a
natural prey. Therefore, you must always try to imitate the prey inhabiting the area. The blue with
Blanco is a great option since our waters have abundant shoals of sardines.

In the last 5 years we have witnessed the arrival of millions of red crabs which are the Calico Bass favorite food therefore we recommend never forget your red fly (Red crab)

Yes of course, we have adapted some special rod holders for your fly rods.

On the island there is no store that sells flies for fishing, so we recommend bringing a wide variety of flies. Don’t forget your trolley flies.

Fly rods, a large box of flies, tweezers, finger gloves, some good polarized  glasses and a hat would complete your immediate outfit. Do not forget that on the plane you can travel with two rods free of charge. (basic only)
