I just returned from a four day trip to Cedros. I have fished many fish camps and resorts in Mexico and Costa Rica but Cedros Sportfishing with Toro ranks at the top for accomodations, food and fishing. I cannot wait to return.

I’ve been coming to Cedros Sportfishing with Toro since the hotel first opened, and every year, they somehow manage to raise the bar even higher. As a frequent customer, I can honestly say this place just keeps getting better. Each visit brings a new touch of greatness, whether it’s the addition of a pool table, a full-service bar, a spa or a poker table, the team is always thinking of ways to enhance the overall experience. And they deliver every time. Toro and his crew consistently go above and beyond to make each trip unforgettable. The fishing is world-class, the hospitality is top-notch, and the vibe is unbeatable. If you’re looking for an epic fishing adventure combined with comfort and fun, look no further. This is the spot. Can’t wait to come back again!

Outstanding experience! This is without question the yellowtail capital of the world. We hit our limits every single day. All the pangas have music, a full lunch onboard, and just about any refreshment you can imagine, and if they don’t have it, just ask and they’ll make it happen. The captains are the best in Mexico, experienced, instinctual, and always on the fish. The staff is next-level friendly and attentive. It’s almost surreal how well they anticipate every need. You’ll never hear the word “no” when it comes to making sure you’re having an incredible time. Important tip for first-timers: This is a sportfishing operation. If you’re expecting to bring home all the fish you catch, you’ll be disappointed. Since you fly in, there are strict airline weight limits, so bringing home hundreds of pounds just isn’t realistic. I planned ahead and packed light, and I still came home with a ton of fish! From my experience: *Pack light. Bring only essential gear, jigs for yellowtail, calicos, and some halibut gear, you’ll want the extra room for the fish you can take home. *Manage expectations. You might catch 1,500 pounds of fish, but you won’t be flying home with all of it. The less gear you take the more fish you will bring back. *Just bring two changes of clothes. They do laundry every day, so there’s no need to overpack. Can’t wait to go back!!
